Note: The Jiangsu provincial government sets national holidays. Our school closes during these holidays but often we have to make up classes on a Saturday and Sunday following the holiday or prior to the holiday. Under the terms of GCA's contract with NFLS our staff receive the same time off as NFLS teachers. Legally we are obligated to be on the job prior to the start of the holiday and immediately following the end of the holiday. Also the New Year Holiday is set by the Lunar Calendar.
